They are currently seeking a Product Specialist to join their Primary Care Division. The successful person will supply a wide range of rehabilitation and mobility products to the community care market. Products include but are not limited to hoists, powered/manual wheelchairs, electric profiling beds, mattresses and bed pan washers.
As one of the market leaders in this segment as a Product Specialist you will interact with a wide range of healthcare professionals including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, clinical nurse managers, public health nurses, end user clients, procurement, and supply officers
Role/Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
- Generate profitable territory sales in line with annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets through a combination of appropriate activities with existing and potential customers.
- Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial enquires.
- Have a high level of comfort using clinical information to build effective business propositions.
- Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility.
- Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential
- Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information
- To maintain up to date and accurate records for the territory and supply market information punctually in line with the requirements set out by management.
- Participate in trade shows/conferences, training, and marketing activities.
- Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
Education/Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience selling into the primary care market.
- Experience of assessments with mobility products is desirable.
- Technical ability in dealing with equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of the Irish healthcare market, systems and processes is preferable.
- Professional skills- Sales and Territory Analysis, Budget Management, Presentation skills
- IT Skills (MS Office- PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Strong personal drive
- Commercial awareness.
- Full clean driving licence.
